Progress is taking shape nicely on the Building Hope project now the frames and trusses are up on site. Achieving this milestone has been a huge team effort, with many organisations putting up their hands to offer materials and labour at cost or, in many cases, for free. Thanks to Formation, Placemakers Albany, Placemakers Frame & Truss, FFL (Finished Floors Limited), Troake, A&S Structural and Steel Fabricators, Atlas Concrete, Lucid Homes and Merchant Bar & Kitchen.
Cure Kids publicly announced the Building Hope project today with the launch of a heart-rending video about Corin Copeland – the inspiration behind the build – and why Landmark Homes franchisees Paul and Debbie Brett felt motivated to help.
Landmark Homes North Shore/Rodney and over a hundred of their suppliers gathered with Cure Kids today to celebrate the launch of the Building Hope project. The celebration acknowledged the generosity of over 50+ organisations who have agreed to come on board and donate their time and materials at cost or, in many cases, for free. The event was kindly hosted by Merchant Bar & Kitchen in Albany.
The slab is down, and the foundation has now officially been laid for the Building Hope project.
